Assembly of stands could have been smoother. Because the screw threads were coated with paint, they were difficult to install without damaging the screw heads because of the extra torque required. Perhaps the larger screws don’t need to be coated as they are invisible once the stands are assembled. Would like the original power cords to be longer in order to avoid using extension cords.

Not the cheapest set of speaker stands, but it's well worth the money! The wire is perfectly concealed within the stand.
