Six class-D digital amplifiers precision-tuned for the speaker's unique acoustic architecture power your sound experience.
Four tweeters ensure faithful playback of high and mid-range frequencies. The forward-firing mid tweeter provides a smooth center image while two side-firing mid tweeters create stereo separation. Loaded into a directional horn, the upward-firing tweeter reflects sound off the ceiling when playing Dolby Atmos content.
Two woofers maximize low-end output and are angled left and right to support stereo playback.
The far-field microphone array uses advanced beamforming and multichannel echo cancellation for quick and accurate voice control and Trueplay tuning. Disconnect by toggling off the mic switch.

Quickstart Guide and legal/warranty information
We are confident that Era 300 delivers an unmatched out loud spatial audio experience for listeners and creators alike. Unprecedented for a single compact speaker, Era 300 boasts six powerful drivers that direct sound left, right, forward and upward, delivering breakthrough audio performance that places listeners at the very heart of their music and movies.
Truly immersive listening experiences bring us closer to the music and content we love. In the same way surround sound transforms movies, drawing you into the dialogue, action and atmosphere, spatial audio creates a sound experience that wraps you in music. Just like the shift from mono to stereo, it is the next evolution in listening.
Google has changed the technical requirements for Google Assistant on 3rd party devices. We’re evaluating these requirements, but it’s a heavy engineering lift and we’ll continue to prioritize work that builds on our vision of voice assistants all working concurrently. We remain hopeful that Google Assistant will be part of this ecosystem one day, but that’s really up to Google.
Era 300 is not a replacement for Five. It is the first of our next generation of smart speakers built for the future of immersive listening. Built to excel with spatial audio, Era 300 has a more spacious sound than Five, which will perform better on conventional hi-fi stereo. We’d recommend you have a listen and choose the right speaker for you.
Spatial audio is a listening format that delivers sound in three dimensions - giving you the impression that the sound is coming from all around you. Just like the shift from mono to stereo, spatial is the next evolution in listening - creating a sound experience that wraps you in music.
